I-MEND

I know I know I just came back to DA. Just my luck, my tablet broke on me a couple days ago. I will get one as soon as I can and I will continue to do sketches just on paper and pencil (like the old days!). I don''t have a scanner right now so you won't see these sketches until I return. Hopefully it will be very soon!

I'm back but I think I'm going to do a lot more quick sketches and not so many finish paintings. I haven't drawn anymore since my last post from last year and so I am really rusty. I also felt like I get so overwhelmed because I would spend so much time on trying to make a finished painting and then hating the end result. I was also facing some personal challenges from my recovering from all the surgeries.

I hesitated to get back to painting and then back in December my Macbook died and I had nothing for a while. I now have a pc and I am trying to get use to working with Paint Tool Sai. I like the line stabilizer but I haven't figured out how to do more "painterly" things yet.
 
For now expect more simple and sillier things from me and once in a while a more developed piece. Right now I joined a daily sketch challenge and I will be restricting myself to sketching digitally.

It's good to see you all getting better and better.

I apologize to all my watchers on my disappearance. I ended up with artist block for awhile and then there was a lot of drama happening in my life. If things couldn't get worst I got very ill for a whole year. I just had my last surgery (yeah multiple surgeries) and now I am doing a lot better. I have drawn a couple things since my last upload however I just never uploaded them. I might upload them in the future.

I apologize to everyone who watches me. Since my last painting back in June something dramatic happened in my life and changed me. I loss interest in all my hobbies including drawing and music. I just couldn't find anything enjoyable anymore but I'm trying to. About a week ago I was working on a new painting but I didn't finish it. I may upload it in the future.

Life has been CRAZY and lately I've been trying to find a purpose. If anybody is interested in what I've been up to drop me a note. I'd like to start on new art projects/collabs even if they are small. I just need something to do!

Since the last art trade I started playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I had just spent so much time replaying the original trilogy I thought Peace Walker was going to be a breeze...Boy was I wrong. There is so much things to do in the game and I probably spent a lot more time on it than I did on Snake Eater!

I finally finished it a few weeks back and my plan to was to move on Final Fantasy X but RPGs take up so much time and I've been drawing less and less. I went on a gaming binge and played a few other games (seen above). Now I decided to stay away from video games for awhile and try to refocus. I have been drawing these past few weeks but I haven't been happy with anything I've done. I feel like my artwork is going in reverse.
