Since the last art trade I started playing
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. I had just spent so much time replaying the original trilogy I thought Peace Walker was going to be a breeze...Boy was I wrong. There is so much things to do in the game and I probably spent a lot more time on it than I did on Snake Eater!
I finally finished it a few weeks back and my plan to was to move on
Final Fantasy X but RPGs take up so much time and I've been drawing less and less. I went on a gaming binge and played a few other games (seen above). Now I decided to stay away from video games for awhile and try to refocus. I have been drawing these past few weeks but I haven't been happy with anything I've done. I feel like my artwork is going in reverse.
I'm working on another piece of fan art but this has been taking weeks because each attempt came out HORRIBLE. I think I finally have one that is "okay" and I hope to have it scanned and colored sometime this week. I'm even thinking of documenting my attempts and post each horrible drawing on my tumblr. Almost each drawing takes more than one attempt before start doing the outlines and coloring and I wondering if many artists struggle as much as I do.
Afterwards I'm going to take a break from fan art because I got a couple of original ideas I'm going to design. I think they are going to be pretty neat and creative.
